Training and Delivery

Delivers all scheduled training on campus, online and in workplaces. Trainers plan sessions, facilitate learning, monitor progress, support learners with foundation skills and record attendance and participation so that every learner has a fair chance to demonstrate competence.

Assessment Services

Conducts and records assessments, recognition of prior learning and reassessments, and leads validation and moderation. Assessors make and document competency decisions against the unit requirements using the approved tools and give learners clear, timely feedback.

Compliance and Quality

Maintains the quality management system, monitors compliance with the standards for registered training organisations, manages complaints and appeals, internal audit and continuous improvement, and prepares the Institute for regulatory review.

Student Services and Support

Manages enquiries, enrolment, pre-training review, unique student identifiers, fees, records and certification, and coordinates language, literacy, numeracy, disability and wellbeing support so that every learner is properly informed, supported and certified.

Learning Design and Resources

Develops and maintains training and assessment strategies, learner resources, session plans, assessment tools and mapping documents. The team applies training package requirements, industry consultation and validation outcomes to every resource it publishes.

Industry Engagement and Partnerships

Builds and records relationships with employers, industry bodies and community organisations that inform training strategies, provide practicum and workplace placements, and confirm that graduates meet current workplace expectations.
